Where can students do laundry in Worcester?
EasySpin is at 17a New Street in the city centre, a practical option for students living away from home or without a working washer and dryer. Check your route from your accommodation before setting off.
There are 5kg and 10kg washers and dryers. Use the smaller size for a regular clothing load and the larger capacity for bedding or a bigger household wash. Choose a machine based on how much laundry you have, and leave room for the load to move.
Can I fit laundry around lectures or shifts?
The laundrette is open every day until 11pm. A wash takes about 45 minutes and a 45-minute dry costs £8.50, so you can plan a visit around study, work or other commitments.
A full wash and dry costs £15 and takes about 1½ hours. Build that time into your plans and allow for additional drying if needed. Seating is available while you wait, and the early opening time is 6am for a visit before the day begins.
What does student laundry cost?
A self-service wash is £6.50 and a dry is £8.50 for 45 minutes. Washers and dryers are available in 5kg and 10kg sizes. There is no student offer at present; see the full price list before visiting.
The total depends on whether you need only a wash or both stages. Check garment care labels before paying for a cycle, and keep colours or delicate fabrics that need different care in separate loads.
What should I bring?
Bring your laundry and your own detergent. Pay by card or coins; there is no change machine on site. Seating is available while you wait.
Check pockets and sort laundry before arriving to make loading simpler. Coins are accepted, but bring them with you if you prefer not to pay by card. EasySpin is at 17a New Street, Worcester WR1 2DP; parking is behind Bottles Wine Bar.
