Is there a laundrette open late in Worcester?
Yes. EasySpin is open until 11pm every day, including Sundays. Come in after work, lectures or an evening shift and use the self-service washers and dryers.
The daily opening time is 6am. Plan to arrive with enough time for the wash and drying you need: a wash takes about 45 minutes, and a dryer period is 45 minutes. A full wash and dry is around 1½ hours.
What can I wash late in the day?
Choose a 5kg or 10kg washer or dryer. The 10kg machines suit larger loads such as bedding and duvets. A wash takes about 45 minutes; drying is £8.50 for 45 minutes. A full wash and dry costs £15 and takes about 1½ hours.
A smaller washer can suit a day-to-day clothing load, while a larger drum gives bulky laundry such as towels and bedding more room. Check each item's care label before washing or tumble drying, especially if the fabric needs a particular temperature or should not be tumble dried.
How do I pay and what should I bring?
Pay by card or coins. There is no change machine, so bring coins if you prefer not to pay by card. Bring your own detergent. Seating is available while you wait.
Sort colours and fabrics at home, check pockets and bring detergent with you. Card and coin options mean you can choose how to pay, but coins should be ready before you arrive if you do not plan to use a card.
