Can I wash a king-size duvet in Worcester?
EasySpin has 10kg washers and dryers for bulky household laundry. Check the duvet care label and make sure the item fits comfortably in the drum; one duvet per drum is a sensible way to leave space for washing.
Duvet sizes and filling materials vary, so check the care label first and do not force an item into a drum that is too full. If it does not fit with room to move, choose another suitable arrangement rather than starting an overloaded cycle.
How much does a duvet wash and dry cost?
A self-service wash costs £6.50 for about 45 minutes. Drying costs £8.50 for 45 minutes. A full wash and dry is £15 and takes about 1½ hours; thick bedding may need more drying time.
Drying is priced in 45-minute periods. Check the item during the process and follow the care label, especially for heat-sensitive fillings. Allow additional time if it is still damp after the first period.
What bedding can I bring?
The 10kg machines are suited to duvets, bedding, towels, sleeping bags and pet bedding. Follow care labels, separate items that need different settings, and bring your own detergent.
Wash one bulky item at a time so it has room in the drum. Empty pockets, close fastenings and separate bedding from clothing if the colours or care instructions differ. Use detergent according to its product directions rather than adding extra simply because the item is large.
